Karsyn's first birthday party was this weekend and it was a huge success. If you can't tell it was ladybug themed and we had way too much food and sweets, but everyone had a good time. I will be posting several tutorials in the next few days on how I made several of the items from the party.

Homemade Coconut Ice Candy-I got this idea from Hello Naomi and thought it was such a cute idea. Recipe is super easy. 1 1/2 bags coconut, 1 can condensed milk, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 pound powdered sugar. Blend all ingredients together, press 1/2 of the mixture into a 7x7 greased pan, tint the other 1/2 whatever color you wnat and press on top of the first layer. Powder your hands with more powdered sugar to help reduce sticking. Refridgerate to harden before cutting into squares.
