I found this awesome tutorial on how to make squiggly chocolate curls for the tops of cupcakes, cakes etc. SUPER easy too! First melt/temper chocolate in either a double boiler or the microwave. Then place in either a piping bag or squeeze bottle. Chill vodka to ICE COLD and place in a tall glass.
When you squeeze the chocolate into the vodka it will instantly free into curly-q shapes. If you are really patient and pipe gently you can get the chocolate to float on top of the vodka and pipe snowflakes or flowers.
