Never too late to post a party right???

I can't believe it has been over a year since I did this party, It was right before I started my blog and I never got around to posting these pictures. The little girl who's party this was just had her second birthday and I made her lollipop cake and favors for her party.

Last year the theme was rainbows. I made the cupcake stand using Sweet Creations by Stephanies tutorial out of foam core boards, scrapbook paper, and ribbon. The smaller "smash cakes" seen below were also placed on foam core covered in scrapbook paper.

There were two one year olds that were celebrating their birthdays together last year so I made them each thier own cake. I didn't purchase a fancy cake pan. These were carved from
one 9x13" sheet cake (1/2 of it for each) then covered in a whip cream frosting (so their was less sugar). The cake was an apple swirl cake recipe found here on wholesome baby foods website. All of the other cupcakes were full flavor, full sugar, fully yummy. I made regular size and miniture cupcakes and little fondant pieces.
The cupcake wrappers were cut out of scrapbook paper using this tutorial.
The cheeks on the sun and cloud are jumbo candy sprinkles and the eyes of the bee are done with a edible food marker.

Cupcake stand (the top has little clouds) and I made little bows to cover the seam where the ribbon came together since there was no backside to the stand.

I also made chocolate dipped pretzel sticks covered in rainbow sprinkles.

This was a really fun party to work on and Karsyn and all the seemed to have a really good time.

I made this outfit for the birthday girl. The skirt is a no sew tutu. The shirt says Make a wish

You can barely make out the bib I made her and I forgot to take any pictures of it before I gave it to her. As I said before this was before I started my blog. I am trying to improve my photography and make sure I take lots of pics of things I do.
