Quiet Book--Flower pot/counting

This flower counting page is pretty fun, the petals have velcro dots on the back and can be stored in the flower pot.

Happy Birthday/Graduation Cake to my wonderful Hubby

I saw a recipe for Darkest Chocolate Crape Cake and thought it would be perfect for my husband's combo birthday/graduation party. And man was it delicious what most people said was it was the perfect amount of sweet, not overly sweet or rich like it looked to be.

Quiet Book--Dress up Doll

I used the free template and pattern found over at Serving Pink Lemonade to make a quiet book dress up doll page.

Baby Set

I made this cute set of baby clothes for shower. I love my Silhouette machine.

Quiet Book---Fishy Bowl

Car Playmat

This was definitely a labor of love. I was inspired to create this car playmat by Jill (over at Homemade by Jill) and my friend Brie (over at Two of a Kind)

silver Felt case

I had a felt case for a carving set and copied it with a little modification for the width of the cake server

Colorful Bunting Quilt

This is the bunting quilt I have been working on for Karsyn's new room, I love it! It is very colorful and fun. Not so sure how the white background will fair for a little girls room but we will give it a go.

Quiet Book-Garden Page, Doggy Page

I thought I was done with the quiet book when I found this website and fell in love with her garden and doggy pages!  The dog collar teaches kids how to buckle/snap and the garden page....

Secretary Desk Redo

I love this desk, I may even steal it until my daughter is old enough to actually need a desk. But this desk is a LONG way from where we started from.....

Embroidered Cherry Duvet Cover

These cherry's are what is on the back side of the lemon/lime/orange duvet cover.

Dresser redo

I refinished a dresser for my daughters room as well. It was originally not painted, tan wood color (sorry forgot to take before pictures in my excitement of the transformation)

Tole Italian Metal Light Fixture-Redo

This is the adorable light fixture for Karsyn's new room, but it didn't start out this way.

Refinishing a laminated piece of furniture

I am working SLOWLY, but surely on my daughters "big girl" room and this is one of the pieces. It isn't completely done, I have decided to add some fun scalloped edge detail to the shelves I will post about soon. But it didn't start out this fun and festive originally it was a laminated bookshelf I had used in our pantry.
